Best Odor Eliminator
The OdorKlenz technology was designed to work through a variety of patented products, which works to improve indoor air quality along with surface decontamination for commercial and industrial applications as well as day-to-day applications for consumers. The products are made from earth minerals and are non-bleaching, non-staining, non-toxic, and easy to apply.

What is the best Odor Eliminator

OdorKlenz products work via a destructive adsorption process that can eliminate the chemical that's at the source of the odor. This technology takes advantage of a variety of chemical pathways to immobilize and break down the chemicals to remove the odor at the source instead of covering it up. The OdorKlenz technology is broad spectrum and is able to safely neutralize the toughest odors from your home belongings and indoor environment.

How does OdorKlenz® compare to an Enzyme Product?

Enzymes are biological molecules, typically proteins, which act as a catalyst to bring about a specific biochemical reaction. Since they serve a very defined function, only when the right enzyme finds the right substrate (the chemical the enzyme works against) can the biochemical reaction occur. When it comes to odor elimination, the enzyme may work against a certain chemical behind the odor, but odors are typically comprised of several compounds across multiple chemical classes.

Additionally, enzymes can take time for the process to occur and many enzyme-based odor elimination products require the source area to remain wet for longer periods of time than most people allow or require reapplication to achieve the biochemical reaction under the right conditions.

The OdorKlenz products use a patented earth mineral technology that makes them very effective for chemical neutralization and odor elimination because they work against many different chemical classes at the same time. What makes the OdorKlenz technology special is we get the benefits of more than one neutralization pathway making it a more effective against a broader range of chemical odor sources in a product that works once contact with the source is achieved.

You are probably wondering how this is possible?

We have a patented process in which the metal oxides are converted into an active form while retaining all the natural safety benefits. We are in essence increasing the usable surface area and pore volume of the earth mineral. These increases allow us to take advantage of the whole volume of our material for adsorptive neutralization and not just the outside surface. The take home message is OdorKlenz offers broad spectrum odor elimination through multiple mechanisms allowing it to address the many chemical sources behind an odor while enzymes are limited to a single biochemical pathway.

OdorKlenz® products contain a blend of earth-friendly metal oxides including Magnesium Oxide (MgO), Zinc Oxide (ZnO), and Titanium Dioxide (TiO2). Our unique process yields materials that have broad chemical neutralization yet retain key the safety characteristic of earth minerals. These products are versatile, reliable methods of odor elimination that are strong enough to eliminate stubborn odors, but gentle enough to use on your family and pets.

How to Remove the Smell from Towels

how to remove the smell from towels

Back by popular demand, we are going to answer questions that we get from our customer via our vlog. Today's question comes from a long time Customer who asks I have tried everything but can not figure out how to remove the smell from towels. Towels fall into the category of one of those items that are just frustrating to wash because they come out smelling fresh from the wash but when a few hours later they have a wet or musty smell to them.

Must smell in towels arrive from two sources, one using too much detergent or the wrong detergent and secondly not allowing your towels to fully dry before putting them up.Wet and used towels lying around can give off a nauseating smell and the longer that you allow the smell to build up the greater that the chore will be to remove the odors from the towels. Often, the smell is caused by mildew that sets in after use and is tough to eliminate.

Before we go any further towel shouldn't smell like cherry blossom or lemon zest and if you are using a detergent that primarily masks the odors, Normal detergents are designed to just mask the odors with fragrances and perfume scents rather than neutralize the odors at the source. OdorKlenz Laundry additive can help remove wet towel smell, with its mineral technology, providing you with the odor free results that you deserve.

Washing your towels twice on normal settings may get rid of the nasty odors, but if normal washes aren't enough to combat the mildew smell, there are a few other easy washing options you could try using household cleaners.

We get calls daily about leaking cloth diapers, especially pocket diapers and All-In-Ones, and we decided to make this video to help answer the question what is the best detergent for cloth diapers. Please note that many parents do use Free and Clear detergents successfully... it depends on the water in your area. However, it is true that when we receive calls and the issue is due to the detergent, Free and Clear detergents were being used.

Free and Clear detergents contain microbiostatic, which control the growth of microorganisms, such as dust mites. This is beneficial to those with allergies, but may be the common ingredient that causes the fleece in your pocket diapers to repel. Now, many parents use Free and Clear detergents with great success (it really depends on your local water mineral content and washer), but if you begin to have leaks or smells after a few weeks or months, try stripping your diapers and then switching detergents.

Remove Smelly Washing Machine Odors Naturally

https://www.odorklenz.com/how-to-clean-and-deodorize-your-washing-machine/

Just like everything else in life, when left neglected your washing machine can become a breeding ground for bacterias and odors. Most consumers are unaware that they actually need to clean their machine on a monthly basis and don't know where to start on how to deodorize their front load washer. Today we will cover in our blog post how to remove musty smells from your washing machine and how you can get your clothes smell fresh and clean againA common response that we receive on our support emails is that my machine must be broken because no matter how may times I wash my clothes they come out smelling musty. To the naked eye inspecting the inside if your machine will reveal little to nothing that is out of odors are hiding deep inside of your machine behind gaskets and seals and are often unreachable to the human hand.

What Causes Washing Machine Odors

Take a moment to think about the odors that your clothing and linens come into contact with on a daily basis now let's put some thought into what they all have in common? They all end up in your washing machine what causes washing machine odorsat one point in time. Your washing machine is actually an unsung hero that gets little to no credit for the amount of work that it actually does on a daily basis.

Secondly, another overlooked factor is that the majority of consumers do not use their front load washer properly which actually contributes to mold mildew and bacteria growth. After every wash, it is recommended to leave the door of your front load washer open for 5-7 hours before closing. This will allow the drum to fully air out and also allow air to flow into those cracks and crevices that are known for holding standing water in front load washers.

Lastly, we will visit the silent culprit that is making you front load washer smell deathly. Excess soap and detergent in your wash actually cause more harm than good and when we use too much laundry soap, it's harder for the washing machine to completely rinse and remove all of the soap. Soap residual remains at the end of the wash cycle as well as the inside of the tub walls, on the washing machine agitator and in the gaskets and seals. All of this build up will result in bacterial and fungal growth as well as a pungent and unpleasant odor.

Cleaning the Outside of the Machine

I know we are focused on the smelly inside, but if you are cleaning the inside completely you might as well clean the outside, too. It won't take long, and the outside of the machine as well.

1-Wipe down. Mix a solution of half vinegar, half warm water. Using a cloth or sponge, thoroughly wipe the exterior surfaces of both the washer and dryer. Tip: Pay special attention to the area beneath the washer lid and around the dryer's base (that's where grime goes to die).

2-Empty the lint trap. As a rule of thumb, you should empty your dryer's lint trap after each load. However, it's good to give it an extra-thorough scraping every month or so. After you've scraped lingering particles from the screen, use a damp cloth to remove dust around the frame.

3-Wash the bleach dispenser. If your washer's bleach dispenser cup is removable, wash it in your sink using warm water and gentle dish soap. Dry it thoroughly before returning it to the washer.

4-Vacuum. Run your vacuum around the base of the washer and dryer, with an eye for congregating dust-bunnies. Tip: If you have a hose attachment, use it to vacuum beneath and behind the machines as well.
